2023  SUMMER HORSE CAMP INFORMATION


You must print off and bring the liability and medical forms with you when you arrive at camp on the first day.


Our goal in horse camp is to begin to build a solid foundation of English horsemanship skills in a safe, fun environment. . All campers will ride each day, and prior experience is not necessary. Our students will be separated into camp groups by age and ability level. Please review our camp levels before choosing a camp session.  If you have questions as to where your camper would best fit, don’t hesitate to contact us.

1. Beginner Riders:  Ages 7-12.Very little or no prior riding experience.

2. Young Riders: Ages 8-13. Some prior riding experience.  Is able to walk trot, and steer horse independently. Has ridden within the past year.

3. Advanced Young Riders: Ages 9-16. Riders are able to walk, trot, canter independently and are jumping small jumps. Emphasis on more advanced skills, jumping small courses, and teaching horse show skills.

Deposits are due by at the time of registration to secure a spot for your child and your first choice of camp dates.  Balance is due of the first day of camp.

We plan many fun and educational activities for our campers.  All campers receive daily riding instruction and participate in a variety of fun and educational activities designed to build safe horsemanship skills, horse safety, and to teach the child what it is like to own and care for a horse.  In addition to individualized riding sessions, campers participate in arts & crafts projects, trail riding, and horse teaching demonstrations.

Camp sessions fill up quickly.  Register as early as possible to ensure that you will secure the camp session(s) of your choice.

REGISTRATION RULES

Deposits are due at the time of registration. to secure a spot for your child. Camp registrations are non-refundable.  If there is a documented medical emergency, we will give you a credit towards riding lessons for your child. A $25.00 fee is required to transfer registration to another camp. Registrations after that date will be made based on availability.  Balance is due of the first day of camp.
